a small milestone...

A week ago I finished the HTML/CSS portion of 100devs and was able to move on to JavaScript! I'm so excited to work on more interactive and responsive sites and applications. It's been slow going since I've been working then searching for a job while doing every form of gig work under the sun (curse you Amazon Flex!) but I'm so glad that I made it this far and still love it. Now that I've gotten a job (yay!!), hopefully, I'll settle into a more consistent rhythm and move through the lessons more quickly. I know it's not much, and there are so many people away further along than me, but I've been slugging along on my own for a while, and it's just super exciting to pass this first checkpoint! I'm really excited to continue on and see what Javascript has in store!
